Shows to see at Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2025

There are almost 700 shows at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival - the choice is overwhelming.

Not to worry - let us narrow down your “must see” list by highlighting some of the amazing comedians that call Stupid Old Studios home.

  • Vidya Rajan & Mel McGlensey alt-comedy rising stars present high-octane absurdity and sketch with Greg
  • Not to be confused with Greg Larsen’s show Geggy. We have no idea what this will be other than probably amazing
  • Matt Jenner ‘stomps about stage in stupid hats and wigs and calls it comedy’ in I Feel Sick.
  • Suren Jayemanne questions his identity in There’s a World Where My Head Ought Be
  • Matt Stewart will politely give you the finger in Bad Boy
  • Jett Bond & Thom Heim :/ (Comedy Lab recipient) don’t turn up in No Show
  • Do Go On do one show only at the Festival Club on April 2nd

Easy to work with, quick return on the edit and easily incorporated any notes I had, plus they didn't mind me taking them aside for hours at a time to try convince them to join my pyramid scheme multilevel marketing company. The special has come out looking great thanks to their hard work. They offered reasonable rates and Evan himself promised to come round and tuck me into bed and kiss me on the forehead goodnight. Would work with them again.
