Humdinger is excited to be part of Australia’s premiere event for photographers, filmmakers and content creators at FRMEFEST 2025.

Taking place at Carriageworks in Sydney from July 19-20, Humdinger (formerly known as Stupid Old Studios) will be hosting a workshop in partnership with Canon titled “Level up Your Podcast Studio: Gear that Grows With You”

You’ve got the concept. Now it’s time to refine your craft and elevate your production.

This advanced session is designed for creators ready to step up from basic setups and take control of their visual podcasting quality, brand presence, and gear performance. Whether you’re growing your audience or monetising your platform, this is where good turns to great. Explore the latest Canon and RODE video podcasting tools, as we walk you through three pro-level setups - with an emphasis on what it takes to reach broadcast-standard output. See it in action. Each setup will be demoed live with real-time switching between configurations, showing you the production value difference across tiers. Don’t just record - stand out. The Pod Lab is your next step in professional podcast production.

Pitch Your Pod

As well as taking part on the session, Humdinger will also be part of Pitch Your Pod - Canon’s new video podcasting competition for creators across Australia.

Open to individuals and small teams (up to 5 people) winners receive a $10K Canon Launch Package (gear, studio time, promotion).

Easy to work with, quick return on the edit and easily incorporated any notes I had, plus they didn't mind me taking them aside for hours at a time to try convince them to join my pyramid scheme multilevel marketing company.
